Title supplied by cataloger.
Designed by architect Julian T. Zeller, the Alcazar Theatre was opened in 1928. Years later it was known by two other names: the Bell Theater and the Liberty Theater, the latter having been given when the theater was remodeled to accomodate three screens in the mid-1970s. In 1987, the theater was closed due to damage caused by the Whittier Narrows earthquake and was demolished soon thereafter.
