View 5: The L.A. Chamber of Commerce initiated "Christmas Outdoors", activities that would draw attention to Southern California's balmy Christmas climate. Three young women dressed in short costumes can be seen lifting a large parade decoration in the shape of a man's caricature face. It is unclear how this figure will be placed on the float, or how it will be transported in the procession. Photo dated: December 20, 1929.
