Description
Claremont University Center president Louis T. Bénézet (left) with R. J. Taylor (right), vice president of the Palm Springs branch of the Bank of America and E. W. Hill (center), the bank's trust officer stand in front of McManus Hall. President Bénézet received a $500,000 bequest from the estate of Mrs. Peral McCallum McManus of Palm Springs. The funds were used to meet the cost of building McManus Hall.
