Description
Image of people queuing up in front of the ticket booth of the Noah's Ark attraction at the Abbot Kinney Pier at Venice Beach in Los Angeles, California. Signs read "booth no. 11 in amusement coupon books Noah's ark," and "built in 1917 B.C."
This is a copy negative (a photograph of another photograph). Title devised by cataloger; date devised by cataloger based on sign indicating the attraction was built in 1917. The pier and most attractions burned in a fire in 1920, and a new Venice pier opened in 1921.
