Photograph caption dated June 10, 1959 reads "Hand hooked rug made by Mrs. Leota Adams, left, and valued at $1,500 will be among 75 hooked and braided rugs and pictures to be displayed to public from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Fernangeles Recreation Park, 8851 Laurel Canyon Blvd., Sun Valley. Viewing rug is Mrs. Mildred Sprout, instructor of Van Nuys Adult Education homemaking class where Mrs. Adams learned art of rug making."
