Description
Chevron oil workers in Lonesome Bayou chain together barrels, canvas and plywood to form an oil slick control barrier five hundred feet long 3/8, to be towed into the Gulf of Mexico to combat pollution from the Chevron Oil platform that has been burning out of control since 2/10. Attempts to snuff out the fire with explosives and cap the spewing wells are being delayed by bad weather.
