Rasthaus für Besucher in Genadendal." ("Rest-house for visitors in Genadendal."). The picture shows a building with a thatched roof and a round arch in the roof above the entrance door. Seven men and one woman of African or mixed origin stand in front of it. The woman stands in the door. One tree to the left and two trees to the right in front of the house. Trees also behind it. Imprinted on the image: " 1831.
