Printer information from the colophon; full colophon reads: "Coloniae, ex officina literaria honesti ciuis Petri Quentell. Anno d[omi]ni M.D.XXVII mense Februario." Written in response to Luther's "Epistola ad Henricum VIII," which is reprinted on the verso of leaf A2 to the recto of A3. Woodcuts: Coat of arms on t.p., initials. Signatures: A-B? C?. Bound in vellum over boards. Imperfect copy: lacks leaves C1 and C6 (colophon). An ownership mark in the form of an armorial crest bearing the letters, "A I & E, Knight" and the motto, "Factis non verbis" has been pasted onto the upper paste-down.
