Photograph caption dated March 10, 1978 reads, "Taunya Marie Bloom, 15, from Newhall, and her companion Lisa Cochran were seriously injured yesterday when a semitruck jackknifed and plowed into the rear of their car which was traveling northbound on the Golden State Freeway. The girls were pinned for 20 minutes before being freed and rushed to Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills."
