Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Tonopah and Tidewater railroad station at Shoshone, ca.1900-1950. A wooden staircase leads to a wooden railway car at center. A ladder is visible in front of the car as well as railroad tracks which run from bottom left towards the right. "T.&T.RR. 507" can be seen painted on the front side of the car, while signs reading "Western Union Telegraph and Cable Office" and "Giros(?) de Dinero Wells Fargo & Co. [?] en Mexico de Venta Aqui" can be seen on either side of the door above the stairs. A utility pole and desert trees are visible behind the car and in front of a second building at left. Mountains can be seen in the right background.
