Photograph caption dated May 20, 1964 reads, "Junior League provisionals arrive at annual meeting and reception. From left are Mmes. Raborn Phillips, Sherman Oaks; Lewis Akerman Jr., La Canada, and William C. Barbour, Van Nuys, and, in back, Mrs. Jack W. Davis, La Canada." Provisional members were introduced at the league's annual meeting in the Crystal Room of the Beverly Hills Hotel.
