Description
Portrait of Mr. Cornwell sitting in front of one of his library murals. Mural portrays the founding of Los Angeles by Governor Felipe de Neve. It is one of 12 panels which presents the story of Los Angeles and encompasses 300 human figures. Sketch of an old man standing in the front middle of this mural, is a model that Cornwell has used in several of his murals. The old man use to visit Cornwell's studio daily when he was at work in England. Photo dated: July 18, 1932.
