Description
Photograph of a Buddhist priest and child in front of a religious statue (?), Chinatown, [s.d.]. The priest stands on the left in an intricately decorated headdress and a long, embroidered robe. He reads from a large book of Chinese writing while the young girl stands in front of him. She wears a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants with long buttons and braids tied with a bow in her hair. A statue sits on a large, metal box at center. The box is placed in between two columns which defend a large, locked door behind them.
