Photograph caption dated December 19, 1962 reads "This group of 14-15-year-old Pacoima Colts bagged the 1962 San Fernando Valley Winter Baseball League with a 12-3 record. Pictured, front row, left, are Ernie Cruz, Dave Segovia, Claude Fontenot, Tony Rodriquez, Jimmy Najar, Greg Merkerson and Ralph Lopez; back row, left, Rick Fellows, Danny Beckman, Louis Arroyo, Rocky Vigil, Steve Grant, Rudy Rodiquez, Dave Rodriquez and Al Hein, manager. The new champions will be feted tonight with a victory dinner at Pacoima American Legion Hall."
