Photograph caption dated April 6, 1962 reads "Verdugo Hills High School's John (President) Kennedy carried the city's fastest mile time of 4:24.4 into the Dons' dual track and field meet with Franklin today at Verdugo Hills. The meet is a Northern League feature for the powerful Dons." Verdugo Hills is in the Tujunga community of Los Angeles.
