Autograph document, signed, appointing M. de Pannath[?] as an ensign of the French naval ship Neptune, commanded by Destouches. The appointment is on the printed letterhead of Jean-Charles Cte. d'Hector, with maritime armorial emblem at the top. The appointment is dated 28 January 1780, in Brest, France, and is signed "Hector". Verso is blank. Title supplied by cataloger.
