Description
Photograph article dated January 18, 1965 partially reads, "Two 'sister cities' - Van Nuys, California, U.S.A., and Puebla, Puebla, Mexico - held a family reunion over the weekend. Although the two communities are more than 1,200 miles apart and got no closer geographically, they were closer than kissing cousins - culturally - Saturday morning. This particular tryst was held via short wave radio." Pictured are Dr. Marie Linville-Velisaratos and Joe Staller chatting with their friends on the Sister City Committee at Puebla, Mex.
