Shows women including Donaldina Cameron, group of children on steps of Occidental Board Presbyterian Mission House.
Also have negatives: no. 10,420 (3 x 3 3/4 in.) for 2017-0895; and, no. 10,421 (3 x 3 3/4 in.) for 2017-0896.
First organized in 1873, the Presbyterian Women’s Occidental Board of Foreign Missions founded a mission home in Chinatown to rescue women and children. Located at 920 Sacramento Street, original home destroyed in 1906 earthquake. Rebuilt at same location in 1908. Donaldina Cameron became new superintendent, serving from 1897 to 1934.
