Photograph of a birdseye view of a busy stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway between Santa Monica and Malibu, [s.d.]. The highway can be seen stretching from bottom left towards the right background. The highway borders the beach and ocean, which is visible to the left of the highway. Sunbathers are visible on the beach, while several people can be seen playing volleyball in a fenced-off area of the beach at left. Automobiles can be seen parked in lots between the highway and the beach. Automobiles are also parallel parked on the right side of the highway. The two-lane highway appears to be busy. Train tracks and utility poles can be seen to the right of the highway, while a few commercial and residential buildings are visible atop a hill at right. Mountains are visible in the background at right.
