Description
Exterior view (from southeast) of the Pio Pico adobe, "El Ranchito." It was located on the east bank of the San Gabriel River, to the south of Whittier. A bell-bearing sign reads, "El Camino Real. This was the house of the last governor under Mexican rule, Don Pio Pico."
