Description
A boulder crashes through the Malibu cliff retaining wall just before rolling through a second barrier. Highway patrolman and by-standers watch as the boulder bounces off the ground before coming to a standstill. Rockslides, like this one on Pacific Coast Highway, are a constant threat. Photograph dated May 9, 1979.
