Pedestrians mill around a Union Pacific train as it runs down Ocean Boulevard in Long Beach in this view looking east of Pacific Avenue. The railroad tracks were removed in the mid 1930s. A trolley going to San Pedro is turning the corner onto Ocean, left. Apartments and hotels are the main businesses in this stretch of Ocean. Next to the Hotel Schuyler, left, the twelve story Heartwell Building at 19 Pine Avenue is under construction.; Cropped view of photograph is #00077186.
