Photograph caption dated January 15, 1957 reads "With raised hand 4-year-old Larry Peltier of 13189 Aztec St., Sylmar, is sworn in as 'junior deputy sheriff' by Harry 'Woo Woo' Stevens, honorary mayor of East Woodland Hills and singing sheriff of radio. Doctors say Larry is doomed by cancer."
