Description
Henry Tregoning filling flasks with mercury, at New Almaden Quicksilver Mine. After filling, Tregoning weighed each flask to confirm the weight of 76 pounds. A total of 200,000 flasks were produced from 1870 to 1883. Title: "Weighing and Flasking Quicksilver, Hacienda"
