Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the old Post Office in Knight's Ferry, ca.1930. Two men sit on the porch of the picturesque post office of white wood paneling. A tree just out front of the post office supports signs and slightly shades the building. To the right of the tree, a dog can be seen center facing the men on the porch. A small path leads into the distance on the left side of the post office while a gasoline station is situated on the right. In the foreground the town water pump can be seen near the ground that is stained with water. Photo file card reads "Some of the old buildings date from 1849. The P.O. building is shared with a store that has been there over 75 years".
