Photograph caption dated September 4, 1963 reads, "It was 'Granada Hills Little League Day' Tuesday in Los Angeles County. The County Board of Supervisors named the day in honor of the Granada Hills National Little League All-Stars team which captured the world Little League championship Aug. 24 in Williamsport, Pa., by defeating a Stratford, Conn., team. In honor of their day, the red-coated youngsters visited the supervisors, Disneyland and Dodger Stadium. Valley Supervisor Chairman Warren Dorn, center, and Supervisor Kenneth Kahn, right, join in ceremony. (See page 23 for photo of youngsters at Dodger Stadium."
