Description
"Kondeland. Frauen beim Mehlmahlen. Dr. med. O. Fischer" ("Konde country. Women grinding flour. Dr. O. Fischer"). In the background a grass-roofed rectangular house built of wood and bamboo canes. In front of it three African women and four children: one woman on the right cuts foodstuff into a basket-bag, while nursing a small child. An older child in the center grinds some grain on a stone, kneeling in front of it. The other women and children are watching the working child.
