In view 2, a female artist can be seen sitting as she details a large painting of two beautiful Russian Wolfhounds. The furry models stand to the right of the painting along with their handler. The blurry building visible in the background is the Huntington Hotel. Russian Wolfhounds, or Borzoi, are members of the sighthound family and are similar in shape to Greyhounds. They are built for speed and can cover incredible distances in a very short time. They are said to be the Porsche of sighthounds, not only because of their speed, but also for their streamlining and grace. The Borzoi's elegance has always made it a popular subject for artists, as confirmed in this photograph.
