Photograph of an exterior view of the Old Fire House in the Los Angeles plaza, showing men congregated by the entrance, 1920. A two-story brick house is shown on the corner of two streets, its double-doors arranged at its foremost corner. To the right, a small balcony extends from a door on the second floor, flanked by two windows. To the left, four men can be seen loitering along the building's wall. Signs can also be seen on the building that read "The Cosmopolitan Saloon", "Locatuen Cigar Store", and "Hotel Espanol". Picture file card reads "Old Fire House at the Plaza as it appeared in 1920 as a hotel, built in 1884 for the Thirty-Eights".
