Photograph caption dated October 25, 1938 reads, "This photo shows firemen examining the remnants of a radio in the charred living room of Talbot's home where the fire is believed to have startted, possibly from a smouldering cigaret [sic]. Loss of the house and furnishings was about $50,000." The address of the home was 218 S. Peck Road in Beverly Hills.
