Photograph caption dated February 8, 1961 reads, "Real estate investment broker Alfred S. Karlsen, left; actress Patricia Huston, and James S. Brown of the Richfield Oil Corporation, join in groundbreaking ceremonies for the first unit of a $10-million development on the north side of Roscoe Boulevard at Haskell Avenue. Now under construction is a Richfield service station and plans are being finalized for a medical building, recreation center, restaurant and office building complex covering a total of 270,000 square feet".
