Photograph caption dated March 27, 1959 reads, "Quiet residential street - Autos and truck traffic turn onto Sarah street from Laurel Canyon boulevard during early afternoon non-rush hour. Residents have protested to State Highway Division and city traffic chief Samuel Taylor.
