Photograph caption dated October 9, 1964 reads "California Women's Cavalry members, Misses Fran Blood, left, Renee Grage, chairman, and Jean Andrews, prepare for the annual rummage sale to be held Oct. 24 at 331 S. San Fernando Rd., Burbank. Hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wearing apparel for adults and children, household items and children's toys will be offered at bargain prices, according to Miss Grage. Part of the proceeds from the sale will go to charity and the balance will be used to cover expenses of participating in horse shows and parades during the coming year."
