Stevens was nominated in the "Outstanding Continued Performance by an Actress in a Series (Lead)" category for her portrayal of Katy Holstrum on "The Farmer's Daughter"--Mary Tyler Moore won the award for her portrayal of Laura Petrie on "The Dick Van Dyke Show."
