Description
Most on the panel felt this was going to be a good year for recruiting in Southern California. Just how good depends on how the players develop over the season. The panel cautioned that this is a preseason top 11 and some better prospects may surface by December. Shown, front row from left to right: Anthony Burnett, Lynwood; Brian Brown, Gardena; Yul Jenkins, Verbum Dei; and Mark Carrier, Long Beach Poly. Back row, from left to right: Dennis Brown, Long Beach Jordan; Dan McGwire, Claremont; Mark VanderPoel, Chino; Pat O'Hara, Santa Monica; and Lance Zeno, Fountain Valley. Photo dated September 11, 1985.
