Description
Photograph of a view of Hollywood, from Bernheimer Estate, copied May, 1930. The view of Hollywood is framed by two palm trees in the right and left sides of the foreground. Several more palm trees can be seen at a level slightly below the foreground. The view of downtown Hollywood and Los Angeles can be seen in the distance from the Bernheimer Estate, which was located in the Hollywood Hills. A note on the negative reads, "Hollywood, California. Glimpsed from the palm dotted terraces of the Bernheimer Japanese Gardens in the Hollywood HIlls". Compares to CHS-5903 (1905), CHS-6950 (1912), and CHS-6974 (1928).
