Description
Photograph (streetscape, horizontal photography) of the First Church of Christ Scientist, later the People's Temple Christian Church, ca. 1920-1935. A road extends from the right foreground to the left distance while an intersecting road extends to the right background. The church stands at the corner of the two streets at center with staircase that leads to its circular archway in front of its entrance. A tower stands above the entrance. Palm trees line the sidewalks down the two streets to either side of the church.
