This is a photograph of Frs. O'Donnell [left] and Mullen[right] looking at the view of Fushun. In the distance mountains can be seen. Rev. O'Donnell was born in New York City. He entered Maryknoll in 1922 and was ordained in 1929. He was assigned to Fushun, Manchuria where he remained until granted a furlough in 1937, after which he returned to Fushun. He was interned when war with Japan broke out and in 1942 was repatriated aboard the refugee ship Gripsholm. -- Rev. Mullen was born in Pittston, PA. He entered The Venard, Maryknoll's Apostolic College, in 1919, and was ordained in 1928. He was assigned to Fushun, Manchuria, returning to the U.S. in 1937. He returned to Manchuria in 1939 and was repatriated aboard the Swedish refugee ship Gripsholm in 1942.
