On Friday, December 12, two days after the suicide bombing which killed her husband, cult leader, Krishna Venta, Mother Ruth gives a lecture to some of the surviving cult members. She talks about her recent trip to a branch of the cult in Alaska. She has been appointed treasurer, the post held by her husband until he was blown to bits along with seven other members of the cult. Survivors say they believe he will return in a resurrection. Krishna Venta founded the WKFL (Wisdom, Knowledge, Faith and Love) Fountain of the World cult in Simi Valley, California in the late 1940s. Photo dated: Friday Dec. 12, 1958.
