Hayden Lake lies 40 miles east of Spokane in the U.S. Forest Reserve of northern Idaho. The lake is famous for its cutthroat trout and is a favorite camping resort. The new Bonanza Tavern at the lower end of the lake affords excellent accommodations for tourists. The lake is reached by trolley from Spokane".
