Written on back: "This is the 'new' Tivoli Theater at Eddy and Mason-sts as it appears today. The popularity of the noted theater faded in the early 1900s, with the advent of movies and attempts to revive the splendor of the old opera house failed. Soon the Tivoli will be converted into a garage and the fame of the great theater will live only in history books and memories.
