Description
Photograph of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce building under construction, [s.d.]. The large rectangular building can be seen at center. It lacks walls but does have floors and a roof. The wooden frames of the walls have been built in the upper right corner of the building. Large stone pillars can be seen along the bottom floor of the building. Wooden walls cordon off the construction area, separating it from the busy street in the foreground. Several automobiles and a streetcar can be seen in the foreground. Legible signs include, from left: "Baker Iron Works", "Auto Market", "Architects John C. Austin John Parkinson", "New Chamber of Commerce Building Offices and Store fro Rent", and "General Contractors C. J. Kubach Co.".
