Photograph caption dated February 2, 1960 reads, "Tears Iron Curtain - Dr. Vera Soper, Valley Junior College professor, wheels her mother, Mrs. Alma Kasparecs, 76, of Latvia, from International Airport after mother's arrival. Dr. Soper had not seen mother in 15 years. Other greeter is the Rev. Oscar Kleinbergs, family friend."
