Description
Attorney and La Cañada resident Henry Oh speaks with Virtual History intern Tate Ahn about living and serving the community of La Cañada. Oh explains how he moved to the area twenty years ago so his children could experience quality public schools in a safe and quiet area. His admiration and desire to maintain these characteristics of La Cañada encouraged him to join the city’s Planning Commission, becoming its Vice President. Oh also discusses how the area has grown more diverse and how he tries to encourage other Korean-Americans to participate in city activities. Finally, he talks about the effects COVID-19 pandemic has had on city building and development.
