Photograph caption dated April 6, 1963 reads in part, "Two little boys, Johnnie and Jeff Capps...aged 11 and 8, are hemophiliacs and must receive many pints of blood per month, to stay alive. Their own father has given one pint per week, the maximum allowed, for a solid year already, but the boys' blood bank 'account' is short hundreds of pints. This week, three young men from Valley College (top to bottom, Bob, Joe and Richard) contributed."
