Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated June 22, 1963 reads, "A two-alarm fire that raged out of control for 45 minutes early today destroyed a North Hollywood furniture store causing an estimated $75,000 loss, fire officials said. The interior of the Clayton Discount Furniture store, 6467 Lankershim Blvd., was gutted and the roof collapsed. Nearly all the stock was reported destroyed. 'The whole building was all in flames when the fireman got there,' said Mrs. Janice Amador, 6452 1/2 Lankershim Blvd. Cause of the 3 a.m. blaze was not determined. No injuries were reported."
