Description
A class photograph at Midway School in Alviso. In this photograph, boys and girls of various ages pose with their teacher outside of their school building. Unlike other class photographs during this time period, the boys are dressed dissimilarly wearing several different styles including longs pants, overalls, and suspenders. The boy in the center of the photo holds a black dog in his arms. This casual dress and combined age class is indicative of a small rural school.
