Aerial view of Edwin Markham Junior High, located at 1650 E. 104th Street in the Watts section of Los Angeles; view is looking slightly southwest. Ground was broken on January 22, 1956 and the architect was William H. Harrison. Compton Avenue is lower right to top left; 104th Street is lower left to lower right; Grandee Avenue is bottom left to middle left, and railroad tracks run from bottom left corner curving to upper right. The Pacific Electric Watts Line car house and interlocking towers are at left and lower left. Photograph was taken for William H. Harrison (the school architect). Photograph dated October 23, 1957.
