Description: View is looking down the bleachers towards the construction of Westwood Village's new Tropical Ice Gardens, the world's first all-year outdoor skating rink. The 110 foot strips of brine-circulating metal flooring will provide smooth ice by day or night, beginning with the spectacular carnival opening late in November. Photograph dated November 7, 1938.
