Photograph of launch of the Intercontinental Northrop Snark SM-62, showing object in flight, ca.1960. At center, a large darkly-colored rocket in flight is visible. A long lightly-colored stripe lines the near-cylindrical body of the plane from tail to beak. Slightly above the right wing of the plane, a small lightly-colored emblem in the shape of a star can be seen. Beneath the wing, a lightly-colored, cylindrical canister is partially visible. Behind the plane to the left, large clouds of smoke can be seen. Far below the rocket in the background, a large field of unknown vegetation is visible.
